News has been slower then ever.

On the Wii side of things, news really couldn't be much slower. I didn't even bother listening to the Nintendo Voice Chat podcast because the topics looked boring.

We have barely any news on any Wii game I'm interested in. Overlord looks decent, but I just hope it doesn't turn out to be crap.

The best latest bit of news there is really is that Disaster is still alive. Other then that, there has been nothing at all.

Nintendo has been completely quite on almost everything. Not even giving us any bits on the titles they have already announced like Animal Crossing or Wii Sports Resort.

Why would Nintendo not be talking about games? Because they are to busy working on there next console.

We all know it's coming, and I can't wait for it.

Some times I ask myself. Do I hate Wii? I mean, I love Nintendo, always will, but do I hate the Wii? Maybe I don't hate the console because of the console, but because no one wants to support it. I like the controller, I like the games, but really it gets no core support. Which is exactly why I'm excited for Nintendo's next console. It's definitely going to have a Wii Remote, but it's going to be much more up to date with tech, so we will be able to get to play this next gen games that are only on 360 and PS3 with Wii remote controls.

Maybe I should stop drinking so much Hatorade.

By the way, as I write this Hurricane Fay is coming straight towards my area. I believe to many people are making a big deal out of this yet to be category one hurricane. I've been through Charlie, and Wilma, which were category 4's, and they didn't do that much damage.

Hopefully the power doesn't go out. Well, God bless!

The last news for the Wii that I saw was release dates for those games. I think Wii Sports Resort will be interesting and I may pick it up if I dont feel it is another game that just serves to boost sales of Wii Motion Plus.

As Ive said countless times, I guess i have to just look to 2009 for Wii stuff, since apparently there isnt anything else that is good coming for it. Im really proud though for what 360 and PS3 are offering, at least in those realms their third party supporters and their first party games are still standing strong.

Hurricane Fay completely surprised me. I didnt even see it coming in the news. But regardless, with its angle of going through Florida and such, it seems like it will affect me for sure eventually. At least it will bring Rain!!!

Wii news is slow? I've actually found enough to post at least 2-3 news stories a day. While it's not all amazing news, there still is plenty of Wii news out there.

And I was wondering what the fate of The Gamers' Cafe is. Are you guys going to still keep on going with that? Quite honestly, it seems like it's dying. There are barely any news posts on there anymore nowadays and the forums are really dead. Even KnightWing is leaving you guys (though that's cause he's becoming a pro reviewer and has a contract with a company).

I knew this would happen when I left Wii Live. I said it over and over again. I'm sure Mickey, the owner of WiiNintendo, would be open to having you join our crew. Trust me, it's a lot of fun there and there are plenty of viewers already. So yea, just saying. It would be great to have you there so I thought I'd see if you were interested.

Apparently it somehow used my name. If you couldn't tell already from the above comment, it's DarkWish.

Now that summer is over, I can focus much more on work. Well, that' what I think of it as.

When I say Wii news is slow, I mean interesting Wii news is slow. At TGC we try to keep most of the stuff original, unless it's huge. So we don't really post up things from IGN too often or other big name sites.

I wouldn't be surprised if Knight Wing left. I'm really the only one who posts his reviews most of the time, and not even I can do that well, which I'm sorry for.
